Product Description

Extension columns are a fundamental component in ceiling-mounted display and projector installations, determining how far the display or projector hangs below the ceiling mount point. The AEC009012 provides 9 to 12 inches of adjustable drop length, which covers the range needed when the exact ceiling height or desired display position is not known at the time of specification, or when fine-tuning the drop height on site after initial installation.

Adjustment is made in 1-inch (25mm) increments using a notched slot design that allows the column length to be set and then locked securely at the desired position. This incremental locking mechanism is more reliable than stepless adjustment systems in commercial environments where vibration or incidental contact could shift an unlocked column over time.
