The Peerless-AV IB14X14-W is a 14" x 14" in-wall enclosure engineered for flexible installation in new construction and retrofit environments, providing recessed space for power outlets and low-voltage AV components behind flat panel displays.
Product Description
The IB14X14-W's removable trim ring is a standout feature for commercial integrators working in phased construction projects: the box can be roughed in before drywall is hung, and the trim ring added after finishing — or the trim ring can be omitted entirely for a flush fit in existing walls. The adjustable trim ring accommodates drywall thicknesses from 3/8" to 3/4", covering the full range of standard commercial construction materials.
Flexible securement options allow the box to mount between 16" (406mm) stud centers, to a single stud, or directly into a drywall opening using the included drywall clamps — making it equally practical in new stud bays or during retrofit work where stud placement is not ideal. Multiple conduit knock-outs (3/4", 1.0", 1.25", 1.5") accommodate a range of low-voltage and power conduit sizes. Removable top and bottom plates allow wiring terminations to be completed outside the box before final mounting.
