It delivers reliable multi-layer power protection at 15A capacity in a compact 1RU-height form factor with signal line protection for LAN and coaxial connections. Product Description
The Panamax MR4000 delivers two core protection technologies across its 8 outlets. AVM (Automatic Voltage Monitoring) continuously monitors incoming line voltage; if it drops below 95V or rises above 140V, the MR4000 automatically disconnects power to all connected equipment, displaying a flashing red alert, and reconnects when voltage returns to a safe level. Protect or Disconnect handles catastrophic surge events — such as those caused by nearby lightning — by instantly disconnecting all AC power rather than attempting to absorb an overwhelming surge, then restoring power once conditions normalize.
All 8 outlets are filtered and surge protected. One outlet is located on the front panel for easy device access; the remaining 7 are rear-panel outlets for permanent equipment connections. Level 2 EMI/RFI filtration reduces electrical noise across all outlets. Signal line protection is included for 1 LAN connection (RJ-45, 10/100bT) and 1 coaxial cable/satellite connection. The MR4000 ships with rack ears for 19-inch rack installation, an 8-foot captive power cord with a low-profile plug, and is backed by a 3-year product warranty and $5,000,000 Connected Equipment Protection Policy.
