The Panamax MOD-DT4 is a modular signal protection module for MaxMOD-compatible Panamax base units, providing surge suppression for up to 4 digital telephone (DS station set) lines. Product Description

The MOD-DT4 plugs into the modular expansion bay of a compatible Panamax MaxMOD base unit, extending signal surge protection to digital phone system station set lines — the wiring that runs from a PBX or key system to individual handsets. These lines commonly exit a building or run through large spaces where they can pick up transient surges, and connecting them through unprotected AV equipment risks damaging both the phone system and co-located AV components. The MOD-DT4 protects 8 wires across 4 digital pairs, with metallic and longitudinal suppression modes and a 70V clamping level appropriate for digital phone signal levels. Capacitance is approximately 50 pF. Connectors include RJ-45, RJ-14, RJ-11, and S110D punchdown for installation flexibility.
