Product Overview
The Panamax MOD-AT4 is a modular signal protection module for MaxMOD-compatible Panamax base units, providing surge suppression for up to 4 analog telephone lines. It is DSL modem compatible and uses multiple connector types for flexible installation in both residential and commercial AV rack deployments.
Product Description
The MOD-AT4 plugs into the modular expansion bay of a compatible Panamax MaxMOD base unit to add 4-line analog telephone surge protection to an existing AV power management installation. It protects 8 wires total across 4 phone pairs, using RJ-45, RJ-14, RJ-11, and 110 punchdown (S110D) connectors to accommodate a variety of cable termination styles without requiring adapters. Metallic and longitudinal suppression modes handle both differential and common-mode transients on the telephone pairs. The 260V clamping level and 30 pF capacitance make it appropriate for standard POTS and DSL (ADSL, G.Lite) circuits. The fuseless, auto-resetting design restores protection without manual intervention after a surge event. Available at Creation Networks.
