The Panamax MIW-XT Max-In-Wall Power & Signal Bay is a 15A code-compliant in-wall extension system designed for flat-panel display and projector installations requiring concealed power and AV signal runs. It accepts an IEC-C13 inlet cord from a wall-mount power management unit and terminates at a NEMA 5-15 outlet faceplate inside the wall cavity, enabling a clean, NEC-compliant power path without surface conduit. The MIW-XT also accommodates optional MIW Signal Line Modules (sold separately) for co-located AV signal pass-through.

The MIW-XT is the foundational component of Panamax's Max-In-Wall ecosystem, purpose-built for commercial and residential AV integrators who need to run power inside walls to wall-mounted displays without violating electrical codes. The inlet faceplate accepts a standard IEC 320-C14 connector from a compatible Panamax power management unit, while the outlet faceplate presents a NEMA 5-15 receptacle on the display side — creating a continuous, code-compliant power path entirely within the wall cavity. The ultra-thin profile allows the connected display to hang less than one inch from the wall surface, maintaining a flush, professional appearance. EMI/RFI noise filtration is built into the outlet receptacle, providing clean power to the display even without a full power conditioner in the signal chain. CSA Certification confirms the system meets applicable electrical codes for in-wall wiring. The modular bay design supports optional Panamax MIW Signal Line Modules, allowing HDMI, component, or other AV signals to pass through the same rough-in location. The included 6-foot IEC power inlet cord provides connection flexibility between the power management unit and the MIW-XT inlet.
