The Panamax MFP300 flat panel power management unit is a compact, low-profile power conditioner and surge protector designed specifically for flat panel display and television installations. It provides Protect or Disconnect surge protection, premium EMI/RFI filtration, and coaxial cable/satellite signal line protection across 2 always-on outlets in a form factor sized to mount behind or alongside wall-mounted displays. The MFP300 is an effective solution for AV integrators who need display-specific power conditioning in locations where a larger rack-mount conditioner is not appropriate.
Product Description
The Panamax MFP300 (Max Flat Panel 300) is purpose-built for flat panel display power management. Its compact dimensions (3.75" W x 8.5" L x 1.6" H) and light 2-pound weight allow it to be positioned behind or alongside wall-mounted televisions and displays where rack-format power conditioners are impractical. Both outlets are always on, providing continuous filtered and surge-protected power to the display and one additional device such as a streaming player or media source.
Premium EMI/RFI filtration at 43 dB (100kHz to 1MHz) removes electrical noise from the AC power supply, reducing the risk of visual artifacts and audio interference that contaminated power can introduce into display systems. Protect or Disconnect surge protection handles catastrophic events — including lightning-induced surges traveling through the power line — by instantly disconnecting AC power to connected equipment, then reconnecting when the event clears. Signal line protection is included for 1 coaxial cable/satellite connection, with bidirectional protection supporting signals from 0 MHz to 2.2 GHz at less than 0.5 dB insertion loss. Maximum current rating is 12A. A 6-foot captive power cord is included. The MFP300 carries a Lifetime Limited product warranty and a $100,000 Connected Equipment Protection Policy.
