The Vizrt Share NRSD is a 4-bay desktop shared storage system powered by SNS, delivering 24TB of network-accessible media storage in a quiet, portable desktop chassis with two 1 GbE ports. The NRSD provides the core NRS media workflow capabilities in a desktop form factor suited to TriCaster operators working in smaller facilities, conference rooms, house-of-worship environments, or mobile kits where rack infrastructure is not available. Two 1 GbE ports connect the system to standard network infrastructure for shared media access. NDI recording from TriCaster and other NDI sources is supported via the SNS NDI plug-in. ShareBrowser MAM enables media search, tagging, and direct-to-TriCaster DDR send for the 24TB library. Slingshot automations handle scheduled backup and sync to secondary storage or cloud platforms. Nomad provides proxy-based remote editorial access for off-site team members. Spare drives are available separately as NRSD-SPARE-DRIVE (6TB) to maintain the unit or extend capacity through replacements.
