Product Overview
The Vizrt NRS-2X10G is a 2-port 10 GbE RJ45 connectivity expansion module for NRS8 and NRS16 storage systems, enabling high-throughput 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity on systems configured with base 1 GbE ports. This module is included with NRS16-10G and NRS8-10G configurations and is available separately for upgrading existing NRS systems to 10 GbE infrastructure. It is the copper RJ45 option for facilities using standard Cat6/Cat6A cabling.
Product Description
The NRS-2X10G module upgrades NRS8 and NRS16 systems from standard 1 GbE to 10 GbE connectivity, supporting higher-throughput production workflows with high-bitrate formats, larger simultaneous user counts at 10 GbE speeds, or faster media transfer and off-load operations. RJ45 copper connectivity is compatible with standard Cat6A cabling infrastructure. Installation is field-serviceable, and the module integrates with the existing SNS software environment without additional configuration. For SFP+ fiber connectivity, the NRS-2X10G-S variant is available.
