The Neumann KH 810 II AES67 is a DSP-controlled active studio subwoofer designed for professional recording, mixing, mastering, and post-production environments that require network audio integration. It extends low-frequency reproduction down to 16 Hz using a long-throw 10" driver and delivers approximately twice the output of the KH 750 DSP, making it the appropriate bass extension partner for mid-sized monitors such as the KH 150 and KH 310. Its redundant AES67 Audio over IP interface accepts up to 12 channels of network audio, allowing the subwoofer to act as a distribution hub for an entire loudspeaker system over a standard IP network. MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment integration (sold separately) enables full-system room correction including FIR phase linearization for connected analog KH-line monitors.

The KH 810 II AES67 is the network audio variant of Neumann's flagship 10" studio subwoofer. Two redundant Fast Ethernet RJ-45 ports provide AES67 network audio connectivity fully compliant with SMPTE ST 2110-30, ST 2022-7 physical redundancy, and RAVENNA. The unit also accepts DANTE-generated AES67 streams, making it compatible with the majority of existing broadcast and post-production IP audio infrastructures without additional conversion hardware. Connection management follows NMOS IS-04 for discovery and NMOS IS-05 for stream routing, integrating cleanly into managed network audio environments.

The internal DSP runs at 32-bit audio with 64-bit double-precision processing and applies a 4th-order 24 dB/octave crossover at 80 Hz. The bass management system handles multichannel configurations up to 7.1.4, with analog Sub-D25 outputs and seven AES3 BNC digital outputs distributing audio to up to 11 connected studio monitors. All analog I/O is electronically balanced; AES3 BNC outputs are S/P-DIF compatible via BNC-to-RCA cable for Neumann monitors that accept that format. Latency is 2 ms for analog-to-digital-to-analog signal paths and 4 ms for the AES67 digital-to-analog path.

The 265 mm (10") ELFF (Extremely Linear Force Factor) long-throw woofer is an in-house design that minimizes harmonic distortion at high excursion levels. Maximum SPL is 109 dB at 1 m in half space, rising to 115 dB when corner-placed. The 180 W Class-D woofer amplifier operates from a universal-voltage SMPS (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz). The cabinet is built from ultra-stiff wood with an aluminum electronics panel, finished in metallic anthracite (RAL 7021), and includes integrated rubber feet for acoustic isolation.
