The NETGEAR XS724TM is a 24-port 10G/multi-gigabit smart-managed switch with four dedicated 10G SFP+ uplinks, the top of the S3600 series for demanding commercial AV networks. All 24 copper ports auto-negotiate 10G/5G/2.5G/1G, and four 10G SFP+ ports provide fiber aggregation to the core. Layer 2+/Lite L3 management, IPv6 support, ACLs, static routing, and optional NETGEAR Insight cloud control make it a full-featured non-PoE aggregation switch. The non-blocking 560Gbps fabric handles AV-over-IP, storage, and converged data, voice, and video at scale.

The XS724TM is built for installations that need dense 10G connectivity, four high-bandwidth uplinks, and complete smart-switch management without PoE. Each of the 24 copper ports auto-negotiates 10G/5G/2.5G/1G, running 2.5G/5G over existing Cat5e and full 10G over Cat6A to reduce recabling. Four dedicated 10G SFP+ ports aggregate traffic to the core over fiber or copper modules, doubling the uplink capacity of comparable 16-port models. The non-blocking 560Gbps fabric forwards traffic at wire speed with a 16K MAC table, 512 VLANs, and up to 416.6 Mpps forwarding.

Management spans advanced VLANs (MAC-based, protocol-based, private), L2/L3/L4 ACLs with 802.1x authentication, IGMP/MLD snooping and querier, IPv4/IPv6 static routing, VLAN routing, DHCP server/relay/snooping, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3 with RMON. Auto-VoIP, Auto-Camera VLAN, and strict-priority/WRR queuing prioritize converged AV traffic. A Lite CLI and web GUI handle local setup, and optional NETGEAR Insight cloud management adds remote multi-site monitoring and firmware updates.
