Product Overview
The NETGEAR GS305EP is a 5-port Gigabit Ethernet managed switch with four PoE+ compliant ports and a 63W power budget. It is built to expand small home and business networks while powering devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points over a single cable. The switch offers a 10 Gb/s non-blocking switching capacity, VLAN traffic segmentation and QoS prioritization for audio and video traffic. A fanless metal chassis lets it run silently on a desktop or wall mount.
Product Description
Connect the GS305EP to your router and configure it through the web-based utility — no additional hardware or software drivers are required. Four PoE+ ports transfer both power and data to compatible devices, with an integrated power management system that lets you enable or disable PoE per port and limit power per port. PoE power stays on during firmware updates for an uninterrupted experience. The switch supports up to 64 VLANs for traffic separation, up to 128 multicast groups with IGMP snooping and rate limiting, and security features including auto DoS attack prevention, Storm Control and Port Mirroring. Link aggregation can combine up to two ports to increase bandwidth to compatible devices. With passive cooling and a metal chassis, the GS305EP operates silently in working environments and AV edge locations.
