The UN552S uses direct LED backlighting at 700 cd/m² to maintain visibility in high-ambient-light environments where the standard 500 cd/m² UN552V may appear washed out. The near-bezel-less design achieves a <0.03-inch gap between adjacent displays with a 0.01mm per-unit bezel, creating a highly contiguous tiled surface for large video wall configurations. The SpectraView Engine provides full color control including white copy, self-calibration to an external sensor, 6-axis color adjustment, and manual CIE chromaticity adjustment. VGA, DisplayPort, HDMI, LAN, and USB inputs are included, plus DisplayPort and HDMI loop outputs for 4K UHD daisy chaining.
