Product Overview
The Neat Board 50 is a 50-inch all-in-one collaboration display for small to mid-sized meeting rooms and huddle spaces running Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams. It combines a 4K multi-touch screen, a 50MP wide-angle camera, and a five-microphone end-fire array in a single device that also supports whiteboarding with the included Neat Active Marker. As a compact 50-inch 4K collaboration display, it adapts to fixed or mobile installs and supports wireless sharing, dual-screen output, and single-cable USB-C BYOD.
Product Description

Neat Board 50 brings the complete Neat experience to smaller rooms in a moveable, space-efficient form for commercial AV deployment. The 50-inch 4K LCD touchscreen carries anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coatings and ships with the Neat Active Marker for natural whiteboarding with no pairing or charging. The custom 50MP wide-angle camera covers a 113° field of view and uses automatic people framing, Neat Symmetry, and Neat Boundary to detect, frame, and track participants while ignoring activity outside the defined meeting zone.
On audio, a five-microphone end-fire array plus five additional sensor microphones and beamforming deliver clear speech, with echo cancellation, deep noise suppression, automatic gain control, and dereverberation handling difficult acoustics. Dual opposing-driver speakers cancel vibration for low-distortion sound up to 82 dB. An HDMI output supports a dual-screen setup or a second display, two Board 50s can be combined to drive an extra screen, and a single USB-C connection with touchback enables BYOD. Built on Neat's Generation 2 platform, it also supports the Neat Center companion camera for larger or differently shaped rooms.
For larger spaces, compare the Neat Board Pro or Neat Board 65"; add a Neat Pad for separate control or scheduling, or a Neat Center for added coverage. Mounting options include the Board 50 Wall Mount, Adaptive Wall Mount, and Adaptive Stand.

Dimensions & Weight by Mounting Configuration
The Board 50 chassis is 44.8 in (1138 mm) wide in every configuration, but depth, height and shipping weight change substantially depending on how it is mounted. Use the figures below when you are checking wall structure, credenza depth or lift requirements. Figures are from Neat's published Board 50 specifications.
| Configuration | Width | Height | Depth | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Table stand (included) | 44.8 in (1138 mm) | 29.3 in (745 mm) | 10.3 in (261 mm) | 52 lb (23.5 kg) |

Not included: wall mount, adaptive wall mount and adaptive stand are all ordered separately, as is a Neat Pad controller or scheduling panel and a Neat Center companion camera. The table stand ships in the carton, so a Board 50 can be commissioned on a credenza on day one and wall-mounted later.
Neat Board 50 vs Neat Board Pro vs Neat Board 65
Searches for "Neat Board" return all three boards, and they are aimed at genuinely different room sizes. The single most useful number is reach - how far from the board the far-end can still see and hear people clearly. Board 50 and Board 65 are both 16 ft (5 m) devices; only Board Pro is a large-room board at 33 ft (10 m).

How to choose: pick the Board 50 for huddle rooms and small-to-medium conference rooms where the furthest seat is inside 16 ft and floor space or wall width is tight. Step up to the Board Pro when the room is genuinely large - 14 or more people, a table longer than about 16 ft, or a need for a telephoto second camera and directional stereo audio. Choose the Board 65 when you want a 65-inch screen for legibility in a small or medium room, or when you want its built-in air-quality sensors, but do not need Board Pro's dual-camera reach.
Deployment & Compatibility Notes
Room sizing in feet. Neat rates the Board 50 for small and medium spaces with about 16 ft (5 m) of reach. In practice, place the furthest chair inside 16 ft of the screen. The 113 degree horizontal field of view means the camera sees a wide arc close in, so a short, wide room suits it better than a long, narrow one. Where a room is L-shaped, unusually wide, or has seating outside the camera's arc, add a Neat Center companion camera - the Board 50 is built on Neat's Generation 2 platform and supports it.
Mounting and screen height. The table stand ships in the box. The fixed wall mount holds the board at 3.6 in depth for a flush architectural look; the adaptive wall mount adds height adjustment for standing versus seated use and for accessibility; the adaptive stand makes the board mobile at 136.7 lb (62 kg) total. Verify wall construction against the 59.5 - 71.9 lb mounted weight and have wall mounting done by qualified personnel per local code.
Network and power. The Board 50 has an internal power supply running on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz, 3.5 A - one AC cord, no external brick. It draws 92 W idle, 10.6 W with the screen off and 97-104 W in a call, which is useful when you are budgeting circuit load across a floor of rooms. Connect over Ethernet where possible; Wi-Fi 6 is supported where cabling is not practical. Neat publishes network and firewall requirements, plus 802.1X and SCEP configuration guidance, for deployments on managed enterprise networks.
Platform support. Neat lists the Board 50 as able to run Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, plus a range of other applications through Neat Open. BYOD works over a single USB-C cable with touchback, so a visitor's laptop can drive the screen and use the board's camera, mics and speakers in any meeting service.
Management. Neat Pulse handles centralised monitoring, configuration and firmware updates across a fleet, with Neat Pulse Pro adding extended coverage.

Further Questions: Choosing and Installing a Neat Board
Neat Board 50 vs Neat Board Pro - which one do I need?
Reach decides it. The Board 50 is a 16 ft (5 m) device with a single 50 MP 113 degree camera; the Board Pro is a 33 ft (10 m) device rated for 14 or more people, with dual 50 MP cameras (113 degree wide plus 70 degree telephoto), 16x hybrid zoom and three full-range speakers with directional stereo. If your furthest seat is inside 16 ft, the extra Board Pro capability is coverage you will not use. If the table runs longer than that, the Board 50's digital zoom cannot substitute for the Pro's telephoto camera.
Neat Board 50 vs Neat Board 65 - is the difference just screen size?
No. Both have the same 16 ft (5 m) reach, but the cameras differ: Board 50 uses a 50 MP sensor at 113 degrees, while the Board 65 uses a 12 MP sensor at 120 degrees. The Board 65 adds temperature, humidity, CO2 and VOC sensors reported through Neat Pulse, and ships with two passive markers rather than one Active Marker. The Board 65 is also heavier at 102.6 lb (46.5 kg) on its table stand versus 52 lb (23.5 kg) for the Board 50, and draws more in a call at 152-154 W versus 97-104 W.
How many people fit in front of a Board 50?
Neat rates it for small and medium spaces at 16 ft (5 m) of reach, which typically means a huddle room or a conference room of roughly 4 to 8 seats. Rather than counting chairs, measure from the screen to the furthest seat; if that number exceeds 16 ft, either add a Neat Center or specify a Board Pro.
Does the Neat Board 50 run Microsoft Teams and Zoom natively, and what about Google Meet?
Neat lists Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom for the Board 50, along with other applications via Neat Open. It is a complete room system - no separate room PC or codec is required. For anything outside those services, BYOD over USB-C with touchback lets a laptop drive the board's camera, microphones and speakers.
What does the Board 50 actually weigh once it is on the wall?
59.5 lb (27 kg) on the fixed wall mount and 71.9 lb (32.6 kg) on the adaptive wall mount, versus 52 lb (23.5 kg) on the included table stand. The adaptive stand configuration totals 136.7 lb (62 kg). Confirm that the wall structure and any backing plate suit the mounted figure before install.
Can two Neat Board 50s be used together, and can it drive a second screen?
Yes to both. The HDMI output drives a second display or projector, and two Board 50s can be combined to provide an extra screen - useful in a dual-display room where you want content and people side by side.
Do I need a Neat Pad with the Board 50?
No. The board's own 50-inch touchscreen is the controller. A Neat Pad is worth adding when you want a table-top controller so people are not walking to the screen, or a scheduling panel outside the room door.
What network prerequisites should IT prepare before delivery?
An Ethernet drop (Wi-Fi 6 is supported as a fallback), plus Neat's published network and firewall allowances for the meeting platform you are running. Neat also documents 802.1X, including SCEP-based certificate enrolment, for deployments on port-authenticated corporate networks. Sorting this before the install visit is what keeps a Board 50 commissioning to under an hour.
