The Middle Atlantic WUSS17.5 is a 17.5-inch deep wide unit shelf system built for components that exceed the 17-3/8" inside width of standard rackshelves. It holds units up to 22-1/2" wide and bolts either into millwork or to the mounting angle of standard rackrail. Occupying three rackspaces, the shelf features a fully vented bottom and steel construction with a durable powder coat finish.

Product Description

Oversized AV receivers, consumer electronics, and other wide-chassis components are a recurring problem in rack integration: they simply do not fit between the rails of a standard rackshelf. The Middle Atlantic WUSS17.5 wide unit shelf system solves this by holding components up to 22-1/2" wide on a 17.5-inch deep platform, putting wide gear into the rack instead of on top of it. The system installs two ways, bolting directly into millwork for custom cabinetry projects or attaching to the mounting angles of standard rackrail in an equipment rack. It occupies three rackspaces and ships complete with a pair of ears, bottom panel, and assembly hardware, so no additional mounting parts are needed. A fully vented bottom maintains airflow around heat-producing components, and steel construction with a durable powder coat finish carries the load reliably over the life of the installation.
