Product Description
The WRK-Z4 Seismic Bracket Kit from Middle Atlantic Products provides the floor anchoring hardware required to achieve seismic certification compliance for WRK Series rack enclosures. Seismic Design Category D and Zone 4 requirements apply to AV and data installations in high-seismic-risk geographic areas, and are commonly mandated in essential facilities including hospitals, data centers, and government buildings. The kit contains four brackets that anchor the WRK enclosure base to the floor structure. Compliance with the stated seismic ratings requires following Middle Atlantic's installation documentation precisely; proper installation procedure is critical to achieving the certified result. One set of four brackets per enclosure is required, so multi-rack WRK deployments need one WRK-Z4 kit for each rack in the installation. In addition to satisfying code requirements, floor anchoring provides improved stability for all rack service operations and reduces tip-over risk.
