The Middle Atlantic WRK-RR24 rail kit adds a second pair of 24-space rack rails to WRK Series enclosures. The heavy-gauge steel rails are 10-32 threaded, protected by an e-coat finish, and sold as a matched pair. Adding rails creates an additional mounting plane inside the rack for rear-mounted gear, cable management hardware, or deep equipment that needs four-point support.
Product Description
A single pair of rack rails is rarely enough in a loaded WRK enclosure. Power distribution units, patch panels, lacing bars, and the rear ends of heavy amplifiers and servers all want a second mounting plane. The WRK-RR24 supplies that plane for 24-space WRK Series racks, matching the 24 RU height of enclosures such as the WRK-24-27 and WRK-24-32 so hardware can be positioned at any rack unit from top to bottom.
These are not light-duty accessory rails. Middle Atlantic builds the WRK-RR24 from heavy-gauge steel so it carries real equipment weight, and each rail is 10-32 threaded — the standard thread used throughout Middle Atlantic racks — so existing rack screws and hardware work without adapters or cage nuts. A protective e-coating guards the steel against corrosion over the life of the installation.
The kit ships as a pair, covering one full mounting plane per kit. Integrators outfitting taller WRK enclosures can specify the 40-space and 44-space versions from the same rail family; for 24-space racks, the WRK-RR24 is the correct height. It is a small line item that meaningfully expands how much hardware a WRK rack can organize.
