Each heavy-gauge steel rail is threaded with standard 10-32 tapped holes for direct equipment mounting. The rails are finished with a protective e-coating that resists corrosion in residential and commercial AV installations. The kit is sold as a pair, giving integrators a complete front or rear rail set in one part number.
Product Description
WR Series enclosures rotate to provide rear access in tight equipment closets, and many installations call for a second set of rails to support deeper components, rear-mounted accessories, or cable management hardware. The WR-RR-24 rack rail kit answers that need for 24-space WR racks, matching the rail format of the factory-installed set. Because the rails use 10-32 threaded holes rather than square punch-outs, rack screws thread directly into the rail without cage nuts, which speeds up equipment loading and rail-mounted accessory installation. The heavy-gauge steel construction supports the loaded weight of typical AV components, network switches, and power distribution units. The e-coat finish protects the steel through years of equipment changes and re-racking. Integrators working with the larger WR enclosures can specify the companion 37-space and 44-space rail kits, while this 24-space version fits compact WR rotating racks used in classrooms, conference rooms, and residential equipment closets. As with all Middle Atlantic rack hardware, the rail spacing follows the EIA standard rack unit format used across the WR Series rotating rack line.
