It adds standard rackmount capability inside a VWM enclosure, and is compatible with the 16-inch deep backpan with door option. The rackrail provides both 10-32 threaded and cage nut mounting options to suit a wide range of AV and network equipment.
Product Description
Middle Atlantic's VWM Series vertical wall mount racks are a popular solution for mounting AV and network equipment in shallow wall spaces, and the VWM-RR-8 rail kit is how integrators configure that mounting capacity. The kit includes adjustable rackrail and mounting brackets spanning 8 rack spaces, equivalent to 14 inches of usable rail. Because the rail position is adjustable, installers can set equipment depth to balance connector clearance and cable management inside the enclosure. The kit is compatible with the VWM 16-inch deep backpan with door option, integrating cleanly with the rest of the VWM system. Each rail offers both 10-32 threaded holes and cage nut mounting, so the same kit supports traditional AV components and square-hole network hardware without adapters. An 8-space kit is well suited to vertical wall mount installations housing network switches, power distribution, and compact AV components behind flat-panel displays or in closets.
