The Middle Atlantic VWM-RR-6 is a 6 rack space (10.5 inch) adjustable rail and mounting bracket kit for VWM series vertical wall mount cabinets. The rackrail provides both 10-32 threaded holes and cage nut mounting options, so it accepts AV and IT hardware alike. The kit is compatible with the 16-inch deep VWM backpan with door option. It adds a standard 19-inch mounting plane inside a low-profile vertical wall rack.
Product Description
VWM series vertical wall cabinets mount equipment flat against the wall in a slim enclosure, and the VWM-RR-6 adjustable rail kit is how rackmount gear gets installed inside them. The kit pairs a 6 space rackrail with mounting brackets that position the rail within the cabinet, giving 10.5 inches of vertical mounting height for switches, power distribution, patch panels, and other shallow rackmount equipment.
The adjustable bracket design lets the installer set the rail position to suit the depth of the equipment being mounted. The rail itself is drilled for two fastening methods: 10-32 threaded holes, the standard for AV rack hardware, and cage nut openings for square-hole mounting common in IT and networking gear. That dual-format rail means one kit covers mixed equipment lists without adapters. The VWM-RR-6 is compatible with the 16-inch deep VWM backpan with door option, the deeper enclosure configuration in the VWM line. For smaller equipment loads, Middle Atlantic offers the kit in a 2 space version, as well as pivoting rail kits that swing equipment outward for service access. Specify the VWM-RR-6 when a VWM vertical wall rack project calls for the full 6 spaces of fixed rail capacity.
