The Middle Atlantic VWM-RR-4 is a 4-space adjustable rail and mounting bracket kit for the VWM Series vertical wall mount rack system. It adds 4 rack units of standard EIA mounting capacity inside a VWM backpan, letting integrators rack-mount network switches, AV components, and power distribution behind displays or in closets. The kit ships with rackrail offering both 10-32 threaded and cage nut mounting options, so it accepts equipment hardware from virtually any manufacturer.
Product Description
The VWM-RR-4 adjustable rail and mounting bracket kit is designed for Middle Atlantic VWM Series vertical wall mount enclosures. It provides 4 rack spaces (4U) of equipment mounting within the backpan, sized for compact AV-over-IP endpoints, small switches, and rack-mount power products. The kit is compatible with the 10-inch deep VWM backpan with door option as well as the 16-inch deep backpan with door option, giving you flexibility across shallow and standard-depth VWM installations.
Each rail includes both 10-32 threaded holes and cage nut openings, the two most common rack hardware standards, so there is no need for adapter hardware when mixing equipment brands. The adjustable mounting brackets let installers position the rail at the depth that best suits the gear being mounted, keeping connectors accessible and cable bends manageable inside the enclosure. As a 4-space kit, the VWM-RR-4 sits between the 2-space VWM-RR-2 and larger VWM rail kits in the family; choose this version when a single VWM enclosure needs to carry a fuller equipment stack. For applications that require the rail to swing out for rear access, Middle Atlantic also offers pivoting versions in the VWM-RR-PIV series.
