The Middle Atlantic VWM-RR-2 is a 2-space (3.5-inch) adjustable rail and mounting bracket kit for VWM Series Vertical Wall Mount enclosures. This rail kit is compatible with both the 10-inch deep and 16-inch deep VWM backpan options with door, and supports both 10-32 threaded and cage nut rack rail mounting configurations. The VWM-RR-2 enables standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment to be installed in VWM wall-mount enclosures.
Product Description
The VWM-RR-2 Adjustable Rail Kit from Middle Atlantic Products provides 2 rack spaces of mounting capacity within the VWM Series Vertical Wall Mount enclosure. Wall-mount AV installations often require holding a specific piece of rack-mount equipment such as a receiver, amplifier, or control processor in a low-profile enclosure. The adjustable rail design allows the rail position to be set to accommodate equipment of varying depths, ensuring that front panels align correctly while rear connectors remain accessible. Both 10-32 threaded and cage nut rail options are supported, providing compatibility with the full range of rack-mount equipment fastener types. The kit is compatible with the 10-inch deep and 16-inch deep VWM backpan with door configurations, covering the two most common VWM depth options used in commercial AV and residential installations. The bracket hardware included allows secure fastening to the VWM enclosure structure. This rail kit is appropriate for board rooms, conference spaces, classrooms, and any installation where equipment must be wall-mounted in an enclosed housing.
