The Middle Atlantic VTB-1 is a 1-space light-blocking vent panel with 64% open area and pre-installed light-blocking material. The flanged steel panel provides high passive airflow while preventing the internal wiring and equipment indicators from being visible through the vent openings.
Product Description
The VTB-1 is the 1U version of Middle Atlantic's VTB (Vent, Tight, Blackout) series panels. These panels combine the high open area of the standard VT series (64%) with a pre-installed black light-blocking material behind the perforations. The result is a vent panel that provides excellent passive airflow while blocking the visual line-of-sight into the rack interior. This is particularly valuable in AV installations where racks are visible to the audience or client, and LED indicators, cable chaos, or equipment labels on the back of panels should not be visible from the front. The VTB-1 at 1U height is used to fill single-space gaps between equipment while maintaining both airflow and visual discipline. The flat black powder coat finish and flanged steel construction match standard rack accessories.
