The Middle Atlantic VT4 is a 4-space vented panel with an open perforated design providing 64% open area. The flanged steel panel with flat black powder coat finish delivers maximum passive airflow for rack ventilation in standard 19-inch equipment racks.
Product Description
The VT4 is a 4U (4-space) perforated steel vent panel from Middle Atlantic's VT series, which provides the highest open area percentage of any Middle Atlantic vent panel at 64%. The high open area makes the VT series the preferred choice when maximum passive airflow is the priority, such as in densely loaded racks generating significant heat or in enclosures where forced air cooling is not installed. The flanged steel construction with flat black powder coat finish matches standard rack panels and is sturdy enough to handle normal installation loads. At 4U, the VT4 provides a substantial airflow section without being so large that it consumes excessive rack space. Use multiple VT-series vent panels above and below heat-generating equipment to create chimney-effect passive cooling. The VT series is available from 1U to 4U heights to accommodate different rack configurations.
