Product Description
The VRK-Z4 seismic bracket set enables VRK Series rack enclosures to meet the most demanding seismic certification requirements applicable to commercial AV and IT equipment installations. When properly installed to structure, the four brackets anchor the VRK enclosure to meet Zone 4, SDC D, and Seismic Use Group III Upper Floor Essential Equipment ratings, which are required for data centers, hospitals, government facilities, and other essential service buildings in high-seismic regions. The Ip (Importance Factor) rating of 1.5 confirms these racks are certified for essential facility use. For AV integrators and facilities engineers specifying rack systems in California, the Pacific Northwest, and other Zone 4 seismic regions, the VRK-Z4 is the required accessory to bring VRK Series racks into compliance with applicable building codes and seismic certifications.
