The Middle Atlantic VFD-46 is a 46-space vented front door designed for Middle Atlantic rack enclosures. The perforated door panel promotes airflow across the full rack height while providing a finished, secure front face for equipment installations.
Product Description
Rack enclosures that house active computing, networking, and AV processing equipment generate significant heat. The VFD-46 replaces a solid door with a perforated vented panel, allowing cool air to enter the front of the enclosure and hot air to exhaust from the rear or top. At 46 spaces tall, the VFD-46 covers large rack frames used in enterprise IT rooms, broadcast facilities, and data center edge deployments. The door mounts using standard Middle Atlantic hinge hardware and includes a key lock for access control.
