The Middle Atlantic VBK-SD22 is a magnetized vent blocker kit for 22-inch deep SR/35 and DWR series rack enclosures. It prevents hot air recirculation by blocking upper vent openings when top-mounted exhaust fans are in operation, covering both the top vents and side panel vents.
Product Description
The VBK-SD22 vent blocker kit is sized for 22-inch deep SR/35 and DWR series rack enclosures. When top-mounted exhaust fans are installed, blocking the upper vent openings on the front, sides, and rear prevents the fans from drawing already-heated air back in through these openings rather than pulling cooler air from below the equipment. The magnetized pieces attach without tools and are pre-sized for the 22-inch deep SR/35 and DWR enclosures, requiring no cutting or trimming. The kit provides pieces to cover the top vent sections and side panel vents.
