Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic VBK-E28 is a magnetized vent blocker kit sized for 28-inch deep ERK series enclosures. The kit prevents hot air recirculation between top-mounted exhaust fans and nearby vent openings by covering upper front and side vent openings, directing heated air out through the fans rather than back into the equipment stack.
Product Description
When top-mount exhaust fans are installed in a 28-inch deep ERK series enclosure, uncovered upper vent openings on the front and sides create low-resistance air paths that pull already-heated exhaust air back into the enclosure. The VBK-E28 covers these openings with pre-sized, magnetized panels that attach without tools and require no trimming. With the upper vents blocked, incoming cool air is drawn through the full equipment stack from bottom to top before being exhausted, reducing average equipment temperatures and extending component life.
