Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic VBK-E25 is a magnetized vent blocker kit sized for 25-inch deep ERK series enclosures. The kit blocks upper front, side, and rear door vent openings when top-mounted exhaust fans are installed, preventing hot air from short-circuiting back into the rack instead of being exhausted out the top.
Product Description
In a 25-inch deep ERK enclosure with top-mount exhaust fans, upper vent openings on the front, sides, and rear door present short-circuit paths where hot exhaust air recirculates back into the rack rather than drawing cooler air from below. The VBK-E25 provides pre-sized, magnetized panels that cover these openings without tools and without trimming. The kit includes pieces for top vents and side panel vents. With those paths blocked, the only available air inlet is from below the equipment, ensuring a bottom-to-top airflow pattern through the full equipment stack.
