The Middle Atlantic VBK-E20 is a magnetized vent blocker kit sized for 20-inch deep ERK series enclosures. Installed alongside top-mounted exhaust fans, the kit covers upper vent openings to eliminate hot air recirculation paths and maintain a consistent bottom-to-top airflow pattern through the rack.
Product Description
In a 20-inch deep ERK enclosure with top-mount exhaust fans, upper vent openings on the front, sides, and rear door allow hot exhaust air to short-circuit back into the rack. The VBK-E20 provides pre-sized, magnetized panels that cover these vent openings without tools and without trimming. The kit includes panels for top vents and side panel vents. With the short-circuit paths sealed, incoming air must pass through the equipment stack from bottom to top, keeping components cooler and reducing thermal stress on sensitive electronics.
