The Middle Atlantic VBK-DRK is a magnetized vent blocker kit for DRK series rack enclosures. It blocks rear door vents to prevent hot air recirculation when top-mounted exhaust fans are in operation, ensuring heated air exits through the fan path rather than re-entering through the rear.
Product Description
The VBK-DRK vent blocker kit is specifically sized and configured for Middle Atlantic's DRK (Desktop Rack) series enclosures. The kit targets the rear door vents, which are the key entry point for hot air recirculation in DRK enclosures when top fans are running. By blocking the rear door vents, the VBK-DRK forces the exhaust fans to pull air from the front of the enclosure through the equipment, rather than drawing already-hot air from the rear back through the system. The magnetized pieces attach without tools and are pre-sized for DRK enclosures, requiring no trimming.
