It connects to the sequencer through an RJ-45 jack and terminal block for clean low-voltage wiring.

In shared facilities, the biggest threat to a properly sequenced AV system is an unauthorized hand on the power switch. The Middle Atlantic USC-KL remote keyswitch wall plate solves that by requiring a physical key to initiate remote up/down sequencing on the USC-6R rackmount sequencing controller. Turn the key and the USC-6R steps connected power zones on or off in the correct order, protecting amplifiers, processors, and source equipment from improper startup. LED status indicators on the plate confirm system state at a glance, so staff can verify the rack is up before an event begins. Integrators will appreciate the simple connection back to the controller via RJ-45 jack and terminal block, which keeps the control run serviceable and easy to terminate.
