Product Description
The UNI-1-C Universal Connector Panel from Middle Atlantic Products is part of the UNI Series, which uses laser-cut knockout patterns to provide maximum connector mounting flexibility in a single panel format. The knockout design is engineered to accept XLR connectors as well as Neutrik connectors, which are widely used in professional audio and AV signal routing. Knocking out the correct pattern allows both male and female connector versions to be installed in the same hole positions, so a single panel design can serve both input and output connector configurations without requiring a separate panel product for each. The 2-5/8-inch strain relief shelf on the rear of the panel provides a dedicated cable organization surface with tie-points to secure wiring and prevent tension from reaching the connector solder joints or locking mechanisms. The flanged one-piece steel construction maintains structural rigidity across the panel surface even with multiple connectors installed. The black powder coat finish coordinates with standard rack aesthetics.
