Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic UMS1-3.5 is a 1-rack-space universal mounting shelf with a 3.5-inch depth, designed to hold small devices including Extron and other compact AV components at the front or rear of a standard 19-inch rack. The universal mounting pattern includes countersunk holes compatible with popular Extron devices. Steel construction with black powder coat finish and mounting hardware for component attachment are included.
Product Description
The UMS1-3.5 from Middle Atlantic Products is the 3.5-inch depth variant of the 1-space UMS rackshelf family. This ultra-shallow shelf is designed for installations where available rack depth is constrained, or where very small devices need to be secured at specific positions in the rack without consuming significant depth. The universal mounting pattern is pre-punched to accommodate a variety of small AV components, and the countersunk holes provide direct compatibility with Extron devices, which is a common requirement in commercial AV signal management installations. The shelf can be positioned at the front or rear of the rack depending on the application. Mounting hardware is included: sixteen #4 flat head screws and four #6 flat head screws, both 3/16-inch length, for securing components to the shelf surface. The UMS1-5.5 is the deeper companion model for applications where 5.5-inch depth is needed.
