The Middle Atlantic UMS1-11.5K pairs a 1U universal mounting shelf with an 11.5-inch depth, the deepest kit in the UMS series, giving longer half-rack and compact devices a proper home in a 19-inch rack. Counter-sunk holes match popular Extron products, and the kit arrives complete with four partial blank panels and the hardware needed for a finished, professional faceplate.
Product Description
Rack-mounting devices that were never designed for a rack is one of the recurring chores of AV integration. Middle Atlantic's UMS1-11.5K universal rack shelf kit handles the deeper end of that problem: media players, larger scalers, and extender chassis that need more shelf surface than a shallow tray provides. The 11.5-inch-deep steel shelf carries a universal mounting pattern that secures small items in either the front or rear of the rack, and its counter-sunk holes are laid out to match popular Extron devices for direct bolt-down mounting. With a full rack unit of height and a black powder coat finish, the shelf integrates into equipment racks, credenzas, and wall cabinets without visual compromise. Rather than ordering trim pieces separately, the kit supplies four partial blank panels, in 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 widths plus a 1/8-height panel, to dress unused shelf openings and maintain a clean front. Component fastening is covered too: sixteen #4 and four #6 flat head screws in 3/16-inch length are included for anchoring devices to the shelf.
