The UMS1-11.5 Universal Mounting Shelf from Middle Atlantic Products occupies a single rack space (1U) and provides an 11.5-inch deep mounting surface with a universal hole pattern for small AV components. The universal mounting pattern is pre-drilled to accept a broad range of small rack-mount devices, making it a versatile option when the exact equipment being mounted may vary across projects. Countersunk holes provide compatibility with Extron touch panels and control devices, which require flat-head screw mounting. The 11.5-inch depth is deeper than the standard 8-inch UFA shelf, accommodating slightly larger components or additional cable management space at the rear of the shelf surface. The 25 lb weight capacity supports typical small control and signal processing equipment. Sixteen No. 4 screws and four No. 6 screws are included for attaching components directly to the shelf surface.
