The Middle Atlantic UFAF-2A is a 2-space Universal Face-After panel for the UFA series, finished in black brushed anodized aluminum. The UFA series provides front or rear rack mounting positions for small devices with built-in cable management and device tie-down points, and the face plate installs after the shelf is populated for a clean, covered appearance.
Product Description
The UFAF-2A is the faceplate panel component for the UFA (Universal Face-After) shelf series. The UFA concept allows integrators to mount small components — Wi-Fi access points, small media players, IoT devices, and other non-rack-mount hardware — on the shelf surface inside the rack, then snap on the face panel to conceal the mounted equipment. This provides a professional, finished appearance without requiring the devices to have rack-mount faceplates of their own. The shelf can be fully loaded and populated before the face panel is installed, simplifying the installation workflow. The 2A suffix indicates this is the 2-space version with a black brushed anodized finish, matching RSH series rackshelves and other anodized aluminum accessories.
