Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic UFA-14.5 is a 1-space Universal Face-After rackshelf at 14.5 inches deep, designed to mount small devices in the front or rear of a rack with built-in cable management and device tie-down points. The unique Face-After design allows a covering faceplate to be installed after the shelf is populated, providing a clean, finished appearance over the mounted items. Installation requires standard 10-32 or 6mm rack screws into the rackrail.
Product Description
The UFA-14.5 solves the challenge of mounting small AV devices, converters, power supplies, and distribution modules within a rack while keeping the front panel appearance clean and finished. The Face-After design means the shelf can be populated with devices, cables connected, and then a covering faceplate snapped over the front to hide the clutter and protect the components. This approach is particularly effective for mounting wall-wart power supplies, baluns, signal converters, and similar utility devices that are normally difficult to present neatly in a rack. The shelf also includes tie-down points for securing cables, preventing loose wiring inside the rack. At 1 rack space and 14.5 inches deep, the UFA-14.5 fits in standard single-space positions without consuming additional rack height. Steel construction with black powder coat finish provides long-term durability.
