Product Description
The UCP-SF Hinged UCP Frame Kit from Middle Atlantic Products is the hinged version of the FK2 frame kit, providing the same 5-module UCP front panel capacity with the added capability of swinging the frame open for rear access to module wiring and connections. The UCP (Universal Connector Panel) system allows integrators to create custom connector panels by selecting individual module inserts for audio, video, data, and power connections, then mounting them in a frame kit that provides the rack-mount housing. The hinged design of the UCP-SF makes it appropriate for installations where periodic access to the rear of the connector modules is required, such as when terminations need to be changed or added. Captive 10-32 thumbscrews hold the frame closed securely and allow tool-free opening without risk of losing fasteners. The kit includes all hardware needed for complete assembly, including the FK bar pair, hinged ear, captive thumbscrew ear, and module mounting hardware.
