The Middle Atlantic UCP-CT is a 2-rackspace (3-1/2 in.) UCP Series cable tray that holds five UCP connector modules in its front face. Behind the modules, a 5 in. deep tray with a multitude of wire-tie slots provides superior cable strain relief. The unit includes FK2 bars, mounting ears, a tray bottom, and module mounting hardware.
Product Description
Middle Atlantic's UCP modular connector panel system lets integrators build custom I/O panels from snap-in modules — XLR, Canare, and other connector formats — and the UCP-CT gives those modules a rack-mounted home with built-in cable management. The front face accepts five UCP modules, enough for a substantial custom interface panel in just two rackspaces. What sets the UCP-CT apart from a basic chassis such as the UCP-CH is the integrated rear tray: 5 in. deep with numerous wire-tie slots, it anchors every cable entering the panel so connector terminations are never carrying the weight of the cable bundle. That strain relief protects solder joints and crimps over the life of the installation and keeps the rear of the panel orderly and serviceable. The assembly includes FK2 bars, mounting ears, and the tray bottom, along with the hardware needed to mount your UCP modules. Standard 19 in. rack mounting and a 2-space (3-1/2 in.) height make it easy to place the panel wherever your system wiring terminates.
