The Middle Atlantic U4V is a 4-space vented utility rackshelf, 15.9 inches deep, for standard 19-inch rack enclosures. Fully vented bottom and sides maximize heat dissipation from mounted equipment, and three rear brackets prevent components from sliding backward. Welded steel construction with black powder coat finish, and optional clamping bars and PD-815SC-PBSH power strip mounting are supported for added functionality.
Product Description
The U4V vented utility shelf provides 4 rack spaces of open mounting area with comprehensive ventilation for rack-mounted components that generate significant heat. The fully vented bottom and sides ensure airflow can move freely through and around the shelf, reducing thermal buildup in enclosed rack systems. Three rear brackets are included to prevent components from sliding rearward when cables are attached or when the rack is moved, addressing a common serviceability issue with open rack shelves. Optional clamping bars are available to secure components from above for mobile or touring applications where vibration and shock loads are present. The shelf also accepts the PD-815SC-PBSH power strip for integrated shelf-level power distribution, reducing the number of rack spaces required for power management. Welded steel construction with black powder coat finish provides durability consistent with Middle Atlantic rack systems.
