The Middle Atlantic U1V-4 is a 4-pack of 1-space vented rack shelves, each measuring 10.8 inches deep and constructed from welded steel with a black powder coat finish. The fully vented bottom and sides promote heat dissipation for equipment placed on the shelf, and the pack of four provides multiple shelf installations from a single purchase. Each shelf includes three rear brackets to prevent components from sliding backward.
Product Description
The U1V-4 vented shelves are designed for mounting non-rackmount equipment within standard EIA rack enclosures while maintaining airflow around the stored devices. The 1RU form factor is compatible with any standard open frame or enclosed rack with 10-32 or 12-24 tapped rails. Welded steel construction provides long-term structural reliability for supporting AV receivers, Blu-ray players, media players, and similar components that do not have their own rack ears. The vented bottom and side panels allow air to circulate freely, reducing the risk of heat-related equipment failure in high-density installations. Three rear brackets prevent equipment from sliding backward during use or transport, improving operational reliability. The shelves accept optional clamping bars for securing components in place, and are also compatible with the PD-815SC-PBSH power strip for integrated power distribution.
