Used to add active cooling to equipment racks when top-mount or side-mount fan panels are needed, the TFP1 provides a clean, finished appearance for fan installations in 19-inch rack enclosures. The 3-space height accommodates the fan while leaving room for airflow and mounting hardware within the panel frame.
Product Description
Fan cooling is a fundamental requirement in populated AV racks where heat-generating amplifiers, power conditioners, and signal processors are stacked in enclosed spaces. The TFP1 provides a purpose-built mounting panel for a single 4.5-inch fan, the standard size used in Middle Atlantic fan accessories and many aftermarket rack fans. The panel occupies three rack spaces (5.25 inches) to provide adequate clearance for the fan body, mounting hardware, and airflow. The flanged aluminum construction keeps the panel rigid without adding significant weight, and the 16-gauge material is consistent with Middle Atlantic's standard panel line. The black textured powder coat finish gives the TFP1 a professional appearance that blends with standard black rack enclosures. This panel is appropriate when a rack needs localized cooling at a specific bay height, or when the top mount position is occupied and an in-rack fan position is required. Fans are sold separately.
