The Middle Atlantic TEMP-DEC is a Decora-mount temperature display that monitors internal enclosure temperature in real time. It installs in the Decora-style opening at the top of compatible Middle Atlantic racks and presents readings on a highly visible three-digit green LED display. An adjustable overtemperature setpoint provides both local and remote notification when the rack runs too hot. The TEMP-DEC fits DWR, SR, ISRK, and TOR Series enclosures. Product Description

Heat is the most common cause of premature equipment failure in enclosed AV and network racks, and the TEMP-DEC gives installers a simple, always-on way to monitor rack temperature at a glance. The unit mounts in the standard Decora-style opening found at the top of compatible Middle Atlantic enclosures, keeping the readout visible without sacrificing rack spaces.

Temperature is shown on a bright three-digit green LED display that can be read across an equipment room. Behind the display, an adjustable overtemperature threshold lets the installer define the alarm point appropriate for the equipment inside. When the setpoint is exceeded, the TEMP-DEC provides local notification at the display along with a remote notification capability, so facility staff can respond before heat damages electronics.

Installation hardware is included: a temperature probe on a sensor cord allows flexible placement of the sensing point inside the enclosure, and a plug-in power supply handles the electrical connection. An optional jumper can pass power to additional 12V DC Decora-mount units from a single power source, simplifying multi-accessory installations.
