Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic TA is an anodized rackscrew trim kit that gives finished installations a clean, professional face by covering exposed rack screws. The channel-shaped rack trim strip measures 45 spaces (78-3/4 inches long) and clips onto supplied snap washers, so it installs in minutes once the rack is loaded. Each kit includes one strip plus mounting screws, snap washers, and end caps. It is the anodized-finish version of Middle Atlantic's finishing trim strips.
Product Description
Rows of rack screws are part of every equipment rack build, but on a client-facing installation they are rarely the look an integrator wants to leave behind. The TA trim kit is a quick, clean, and effective method of covering rack screws once the job is complete. The extruded strip is channel-shaped with internal grooves that grip the supplied snap washers, which mount to the rack rail with the included screws. Press the strip onto the washers and the fastener line disappears behind a uniform anodized face.
At 45 spaces long, a single strip covers the full rail height of a 45 RU rack, and it is easily trimmed to any shorter length with a hacksaw for smaller enclosures or partial runs. The kit includes 16 mounting screws, 16 snap washers, and 8 end caps, so one package finishes a strip with capped ends and secure attachment points along its length. Middle Atlantic also offers these finishing trim strips in a black brushed finish for racks where a darker face is preferred. Trim strips are sold as individual strips, so plan one kit per rail to be covered. For AV racks in boardrooms, retail spaces, and residential equipment closets, this rack screw cover strip is an inexpensive detail that signals finished, professional work.
