Product Description

Many AV and network racks serve two audiences at once: the installer who configures and maintains the system, and the end user who only needs access to a few components. The SSDR-8 split solid security door resolves that tension by covering an 8-rackspace section of the rack with a keylocked solid steel door. Equipment that must not be touched, such as network switches, control processors, DSPs, and power management, mounts behind the locked door in the installer zone.

Components the client needs to reach, like media players or source equipment, stay in the open portion of the rack in the user zone.
