The Middle Atlantic SSDR-12 is a 12-space keylocked split solid security door for RK and BRK Series racks. It covers a select portion of the rack face, letting an integrator lock down source equipment, network gear, or processing in a protected “installer zone” while leaving client-operated components exposed in the “user zone.” The solid steel door blocks both access and sightlines to the secured section. On shorter RK/BRK racks, the same door can serve as a full-height front door.

A split security door solves that without locking the client out of the equipment they legitimately need. The SSDR-12 split solid security door covers 12 rack spaces of an RK or BRK Series enclosure with a keylocked steel panel. Mount the amplifiers, switchers, network hardware, and control processors that should never be touched behind the door in the installer zone; keep the cable box, media player, or anything client-facing in the open user zone above or below. The solid style conceals the secured equipment entirely, which also keeps indicator LEDs and cabling out of view in finished spaces. Because the keylock controls access rather than just appearance, the door provides genuine tamper resistance for keypads, programming ports, and power switching.
