The kit spans 40 rack spaces, or 70 inches of usable mounting height, covering the full capacity of a 40-space SR Series enclosure. Adding a rail kit is also how integrators expand mounting options in the wider 28" SR format, where the extra width leaves room beside the 19" equipment opening for power and cable infrastructure.
