Product Description
Middle Atlantic SR Series large pivoting wall racks are a staple for AV and network installations where rear access is needed without a walk-behind service aisle. The 28-inch wide SR models add extra interior width beyond the 19-inch mounting rails, and the SR28-RR24 rail kit puts that width to work by adding a second plane of 24-space rackrail inside the enclosure.
Extra rackrail is one of the most practical upgrades for a wide rack build. It gives integrators additional mounting points for equipment, power distribution, lacing strips, and accessories, and it helps balance equipment layouts in dense head-end and IDF installations. Because the kit is sized at 24 rack units, it matches 24-space, 28-inch wide SR rack models for a clean factory fit.
The rail kit also accepts the Middle Atlantic vertical cable finger kit, so installers can pair the added rail with vertical plastic cable fingers for structured, serviceable cable routing along the full height of the rack.
