The Middle Atlantic SNE30-FAD-PM-45 is a front-air dam panel mount pair designed for 30-inch wide, 45 rack unit SNE Series security network enclosures. This SNE rack airflow accessory controls air movement at the front of wider racks while adding zero-U mounting positions for patch panels and connectivity hardware. By directing airflow where it belongs and freeing up rack spaces, the pair supports both thermal management and higher equipment density in a single accessory.

Product Description

Wide-format racks such as the Middle Atlantic SNE Series leave open area at the front of the enclosure beside the rail-mounted equipment. Left unmanaged, that open area allows conditioned air to bypass equipment intakes and lets hot exhaust recirculate to the front of the rack. The SNE30-FAD-PM-45 front air dam pair closes off that path, helping maintain proper front-to-back airflow through the enclosure. Each dam also functions as a zero-U panel mount: factory knockouts accept standard patch panels and connectivity devices, so network terminations move off the rackmount rails entirely. That recovers usable rack units for switches, servers, and AV equipment in space-constrained network closets and equipment rooms. The panels are formed from steel and finished in black powder coat to match SNE enclosures and other Middle Atlantic rack accessories. This pair is sized specifically for 45-space SNE racks in the 30-inch wide format; integrators working with other SNE heights or widths should select the matching FAD-PM model for their enclosure. Sold and installed as a pair, one for each side of the rack front.
